Planned Network Outage – 8 February

City of Bayswater Recreation members and patrons are advised of a planned network outage across all sites on Sunday 8 February 2026, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, due to scheduled maintenance in the City’s Admin Centre server room.

During this time, all Recreation facilities – including Bayswater Waves, The RISE and Morley Sport & Recreation Centre – should expect limited access to IT systems and services.

What this means for visitors

While our centres will remain open and operating, the outage will impact several services, including:

  • Phones and internal computer systems may be unavailable
  • Transactions may be processed manually
  • Check-ins, bookings and enquiries may take longer than usual
  • Some digital services and online systems may be temporarily inaccessible

Our teams will be on-site and ready to assist, and we appreciate patience while manual processes are in place.

Contacting our centres

During the outage period, response times may be longer than usual. Where possible, visitors are encouraged to contact us via email, as phone services may be disrupted. We will also attempt to divert calls to mobile devices where available.

Planning your visit

To help minimise delays, visitors are encouraged to:

  • Arrive a little earlier than usual for classes or bookings
  • Allow extra time for entry and transactions
  • Pre-plan any enquiries or bookings where possible

Normal systems and services are expected to resume following the maintenance period.
