Youth Holiday Programs

City of Bayswater Recreation is excited to launch a brand-new series of programs specifically for young people aged 11–17 — expanding our offering beyond our traditional 5–10 year old holiday activities for the very first time.

These new pop-up sessions at The RISE and Morley Sport & Recreation Centre are designed to give teens and pre-teens more opportunities to get active, try new activities and connect with others in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Running across January, and currently consisting of Pickleball, Netball and K-Pop Dance, these programs are sure to have something for everyone. Kids Holiday Programs

City of Bayswater Recreation’s Kids Holiday Programs are back from 12-30 January, offering a fun, active and creative line-up of clinics for children aged 5–10 years at The RISE and Morley Sport & Recreation Centre.

Designed to keep kids engaged, moving and social during the school holidays, each clinic runs as a standalone session and is delivered by experienced staff in a safe, supportive environment. Programs are ideal for building confidence, trying new activities and making new friends, while giving parents flexible holiday options.

Our Kids Craft Clinic is the ultimate imagination station where young artists roll up their sleeves, dive into colourful materials, and bring their ideas to life. 

Mad Science
Get ready for a hands-on, safe, and exciting science experience. This interactive clinic is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire creativity through fun-filled experiments!

Multi Sport
With a strong emphasis on fair play, respect for others, and learning how to win and lose gracefully, kids will work together in this Multisport clinic to try their hand at Soccer, Dodgeball and Basketball.

Games Galore
This clinic combines the excitement of board games, party games, and puzzle-solving activities to help kids develop strategy, patience, and social skills – all in a fun and engaging environment!

Slime & Dough
Dive into some hands-on fun and magical mess-making (of the good kind!) Ignite your senses with our Slime & playdough making workshop!

K-POP Dance Workshop
Now is your chance to learn some cool K-POP moves to the viral tunes from the popular Demon Hunters Movie! Beginner Friendly, and SO much fun!

  • Bookings are essential! Enrolment is only confirmed once full payment is received.​
  • Sign-In/Sign-Out: Parents/guardians must sign children in and out at the beginning and end of each session.​
  • What to Bring: Please provide water and a healthy snack for break times.​
  • Age Group: Clinics are open to children aged 5–10.​

Our Junior Gymnastics classes provide a great way for kids to develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment, while our social Pickleball sessions offer adults a chance to enjoy a fast-paced game that’s easy to learn and perfect for all skill levels. Whether you’re looking to introduce your child to gymnastics or try out a new sport yourself, we have something for everyone.

Junior Gymnastics Enrolment

Junior Gymnastics

City of Bayswater Recreation is delighted to announce the commencement of the 2025 Morley Sport and Recreation Centre Junior Gymnastics Program!

Junior Gymnastics will be taking place on Tuesdays during the school term at the following times, for the following ages:

  • 3:45pm – 4:45pm (4-7 years of age)
  • 4:45 – 5:45pm (8-12 years of age)

Once your child is registered, parents are then charged via an ongoing direct debit which will roll over into the following term. Please inform us if you wish to cancel your enrolment.

Trial classes are also available for $16.80. However, these are limited to 1 casual trial class per term, per child.

Social Pickleball

Discover the Fun of Pickleball at Morley Rec!

Join us at Morley Sport & Recreation Centre for our exciting social pickleball program! Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, our program offers a fun and engaging way to stay active and meet new people. Pickleball is a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, making it perfect for players of all ages and skill levels.

Program Details:

  • Price: $10.30 per day session
  • Bookings: All bookings are made via the TeamReach app, just enter our group code, Morley_PB, then follow the prompts
  • Sessions:
    • Monday & Wednesday:
      • 9:00am – 11:00am
      • 11:00am – 1:00pm

Our expert instructors will guide you through the rules, techniques, and strategies of the game, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for everyone.

Pickleball 10-Visit Pass

For those who can’t get enough pickleball, we offer a convenient 10-visit pass, providing added flexibility and savings. After paying for 10 sessions, your 11th is free!

Just fill out the online enrolment form via the “Pickleball 10-Visit Pass Enrolment Form” button below.

10-Visit Pass Details:

  • Validity: 3 years from the date of purchase
  • Usage: Valid at either The RISE and Morley Sport & Recreation Centre – Your preferred centre can be chosen when submitting your Enrolment Form
  • Session Types: Must be used for the same type of session (AM or PM) as selected in your enrolment form

Terms & Conditions:

  • Visit passes are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. No further extensions apply.
  • Visit passes are non-refundable.
  • Key tags are issued at the time of purchase and must be scanned to gain entry. One scan per visitor is required at reception. Lost cards will incur a $6 replacement fee.
  • Visit pass is valid at either The Rise or Morley Sport & Recreation for COB social pickleball sessions ONLY.
  • Session bookings must still be made via Team Reach prior to sessions
  • Passes must be used in a like for like capacity (Purchased AM sessions can only be used for AM sessions, PM sessions are only valid for PM sessions).
