The City of Bayswater advises that Morley Sport and Recreation Centre will implement a change to its standard operating hours, immediate following the closure of the Gym and Crèche, effective from Tuesday 1 October 2025.
New Opening Time
As of this date, the Centre’s opening time will shift from 5:30am to 7:30am, applying consistently seven days a week (Monday to Sunday).
There will be no changes to closing times on any day. Current weekday and weekend closing hours will remain in place.
Access Outside Standard Hours
The City recognises that some groups and community members may require access to the facility outside of the new standard operating hours. In these cases, regular bookings can still be accommodated through the existing Recreation booking process.

We encourage all groups with early morning requirements to make contact in advance to ensure suitable arrangements can be confirmed.
Public Holiday Hours
Public holiday operating hours at Morley Sport and Recreation Centre will remain unchanged. Unless otherwise stated, the Centre will continue to operate on public holidays from 10:00am to 4:00pm (not including Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day).
