Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays? We are thrilled to announce our April School Holiday Programs, running from 14 – 24 April!

This year, for the first time, we are also expanding our offerings to include the Morley Sport & Recreation Centre, providing more opportunities for children to participate in our exciting activities.. From hands-on arts and crafts to high-energy sports and games, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Our School Holiday Programs are designed to be as enriching as they are fun, ensuring your child has an unforgettable holiday experience at The RISE. Enrolments are now OPEN!

Below is the schedule of activities available exclusively at The RISE. All programs run for 3 hours at $30.90 per child:​

Monday, 14 April
Science Workshop – SOLD OUT (Available in Week 1 of Morley Sport & Recreation Centre Kids Program)
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Description: Explore the wonders of science through hands-on experiments and interactive activities that make learning both fun and educational.​

Tuesday, 15 April
Basketball #1 – SOLD OUT (Available in Week 2 or Week 1 of Morley Sport & Recreation Centre Kids Program)
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description: Learn the fundamentals of basketball, including drills, skills, and gameplay to improve attack, defense, footwork, and shooting technique.​

Wednesday, 16 April
Lego & Cinema – SOLD OUT
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Description: Engage in exciting Lego building challenges, free builds, and team projects, followed by a cinema experience featuring a Lego-themed movie. (Optional: BYO Pillow)​

Thursday, 17 April
Easter Craft
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Description: Join us for a creative session where children can craft their own Easter-themed decorations and accessories, fostering creativity and holiday spirit.​

Tuesday, 22 April
Dance & Disco (NEW!) – SOLD OUT
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description: Get into the groove with our new dance and disco program, teaching various dance styles and culminating in a fun-filled disco party.​

Wednesday, 23 April
Lego Masters
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description: Unleash your imagination in this session inspired by the popular TV show, where participants tackle themed building challenges and collaborative projects.

Wednesday, 23 April
Multisport
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Description: This clinic is sure to be a highlight of the holidays with lots of fun-filled games and challenges, introducing children to a variety of sports to enhance their skills and teamwork.​

Thursday, 24 April
Basketball #2
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description: A continuation of our basketball clinics, focusing on advanced skills, drills, and gameplay strategies to further develop participants’ abilities.​

  • Bookings are essential! Enrolment is only confirmed once full payment is received.​
  • Sign-In/Sign-Out: Parents/guardians must sign children in and out at the beginning and end of each session.​
  • What to Bring: Please provide water and a healthy snack for break times.​
  • Age Group: Clinics are open to children aged 5–10.​

A PDF Enrolment Form is also available for parents to fill out here. When complete, either hand it in to the RISE reception or email it to rise@bayswater.wa.gov.au (Please note – Emailing of a PDF enrolment form does not guarantee your child’s spot alone. A spot is only secured when full payment is received. Staff will contact enrolments submitted via emailed PDF forms.)
