Get ready for a summer full of fun and creativity at The RISE! We’re excited to bring you three weeks of fantastic holiday programs designed to entertain and inspire children of all ages.

As we welcome to New Year, our January program offers a variety of activities from Monday, 13 January to Friday, 31 January. Each session runs for three hours, allowing kids to dive into activities like Crazy Craft, Multisport, Basketball, Lego & Cinema, Drama, and more! These programs are designed to keep children engaged and active during the holidays, with each session held at different locations within The RISE to cater to a range of interests.

Each session is $30.90 and runs for three hours, giving your child a fantastic mix of fun and learning. Registration IS NOW OPEN via our online portal available on this page or in-person at The RISE reception.

Week 1: January 2025 Programs

Monday, 13 January – Dance Workshop #1
    • Location: Community Hall
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: With Dance Workshop #2 being a sellout, this extra clinic will include a fun afternoon of dance and creativity with a mini showcase for parents at the end.
Tuesday, 14 January – Lego & Cinema #1
    • Location: Creche & Community Hall
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Due to Lego & Cinema #2 being a sellout, we have added an additional day of fun where kids will get to engage in Lego challenges and team activities, followed by a movie on the big screen. Optional: bring a pillow.
Thursday, 16 January – Basketball #1
    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: This additional clinic will help kids improve their basketball skills with drills, games, and technique training.

    • Description: Play traditional team games like capture the flag, tunnel ball, and dodgeball.

    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Wrap up the holidays with an afternoon of net sports, including modified games with soccer, netball, and basketball goals.
